Orders & Product Statuses
GroWrk’s updated order types and product/order logs are tailored to offer detailed context about various stages in the order lifecycle and provide timely information through status updates regarding your orders and products. Refer to this guide to explore all available order types and associated statuses for orders and products.
Order Types
The following are GroWrk's order types with their descriptions:
Purchase for Employee: Purchase a product for a specific employee for GroWrk to deliver.
Purchase for Inventory: Purchase a product to store in the inventory at a GroWrk’s Warehouse.
Assign to Employee: Request to send a product that was stored in a GroWrk’s Warehouse to an employee.
Maintenance: Request maintenance services for a product that is stored in a GroWrk warehouse.
Import Inventory (Self-Delivery): Send a product to the warehouse for GroWrk to prepare it for future use.
Import Inventory (with Pickup): Request for GroWrk to pick up a product to store at the warehouse and prepare it for future use.
Collection: Request for GroWrk to pick up products to store in the warehouse and prepare it for future use use.
Collect for Maintenance: Request for GroWrk to pick up a used product for maintenance services in the warehouse.
Swap by Purchase: Request to swap a product in use with a newly purchased product.
Swap by Assign: Request to swap a product in use with a product stored in the inventory.
Offboarding: Request for GroWrk to recover products from a former employee back to the GroWrk warehouse.
End of Lifecycle: Our term for orders that include Buyback, Destruction, Donation, or Recycle services for used products.
Collect for End of Lifecycle: Request for GroWrk to pick up a used product for one of the following End of Lifecycle orders: Buyback, Destruction, Donation, and Recycle.
Order Statuses & Order Logs
An order status is the current state of an order that is updated throughout the order process. Order statuses do not contain specific information about its products, but rather provides general updates on the overall order. Order statuses are accompanied by order logs that provide further context about the current state of the order.
Order Placed: See below. The log will be customized to the specific order scenario.
- John Doe placed this order. We are verifying the availability of the product/X products.
- John Doe placed this order. The request service has been quoted. Review and approve to proceed.
In Progress: We have started preparing the order.
Enabling Region: We are currently working to enable services in this region.
Canceled: The order has been canceled and is no longer being processed by GroWrk.
On Hold: The order is on hold until further notice.
Delayed: See below. The log will be customized to the specific delay scenario.
- There has been a delay on our end that we are working on resolving.
- There has been a delay because we are awaiting information from your employee. We will provide additional details once we receive the necessary information.
- There has been a delay due to your employee missing their scheduled courier pickup. We will provide additional details once the collection is confirmed.
- There has been a delay because we are awaiting information from you. We will provide additional details once we receive the necessary information.
- There has been a delay due to issues with the courier. We will provide additional details once we receive an update.
Closed: All products within the order have been confirmed delivered.
Quote (Pre-order): John Doe placed this order. We are creating a quote for the requested service.
Pending Approval: See below. The log will be customized to the specific scenario.
- Some products may have been replaced due to availability issues of price adjustments. Review and approve to proceed.
- The requested services has been quoted. Review and approve to proceed.
Pending Payment: Any pending payments must be completed before we can continue processing the order.
Order Paid: The order has been paid and we will proceed to fulfill it.
Product Statuses & Product Logs
A product status is the current state of the product that is updated throughout the product lifecycle. Each product status is accompanied by a product log that provides more information about the specific status. To provide visibility of updates to products within an order, product status changes and logs will be displayed on the Order page in the Order History.

Verifying Availability | We are verifying the availability of this product. |
Confirmed Availability | We have confirmed the availability of the product. Payment may be needed to proceed. |
Uploaded | The product has been imported to your Dashboard. Share the tracking information when available. (If self-delivery) |
Shipped by Client | The product has been shipped by Your Company. |
In Recovery | The product is being recovered from your employee. |
Shipped | The product has been shipped to Jane Doe's address. |
Delayed | The product is delayed in transit to its destination. |
Lost in Transit | The product was lost by the courier. A claim will be initiated to find a solution with the courier. |
Open Claim | A claim for the product has been initiated with the courier. |
Received | The product has been received at our warehouse. |
Legal Hold | The product has been set to Legal Hold under your request. We will ensure that no wiping or maintenance processes are performed until further confirmation from you. |
Preventive Hold | The product has been placed on Preventive Hold and is awaiting assignment by your request. |
Unlock Required | The product is locked by a password. We are asking for device credentials to unlock and proceed. |
Wiping | The product is being wiped. It will be ready to use soon. |
Ready to Use | The product is now ready to use and can be assigned. |
Delivered | The product has been delivered to the employee. |
In Use | The product is now active and being used by the employee. |
Lost by Employee | The product was reported lost by the employee. It will be removed from your inventory. |
Kept | You indicated that the product will be kept by the employee. It will be removed from your inventory. |
Withheld | The former employee is unresponsive and has not returned the product. Awaiting the manager's confirmation on how to proceed. |
Not Returned | The product has been confirmed as Not Returned and will no longer be attempted for collection. |
Inspection | The product is in the inspection process. We will inform if repairs are needed. |
Repairing | The product is being repaired. |
Powered On | The product has been remotely powered on. It will be shut down once you’re finished. |
Quoting | The product is in the process of being quoted. |
Recycling | The product is in the process of being recycled. |
Buying Back | We are finalizing the buyback of the product. |
Destroying | The product is in the process of being destroyed. |
Donating | We are finalizing the donation of the product. |
Recycled | The product has been recycled. |
Bought Back | The product has been bought back. |
Destroyed | The product has been destroyed. |
Donated | The product has been donated. |
Out of Service | The product is out of service and will no longer be available. |
